I am trying to demonstrate a possible benefit of a higher noise image. Though pictures may seem worse at first look, detail is better kept; due to less intrusive noise reduction systems. Pay particular attention to the detail's in the eyes and hair.
The H1 clearly shows its noise reduction, a blurred eye and blotchy looking hair are apparent.
While the S2's image is noisier, It is clear their is much more detail to be seen.

With a little noise reduction, the S2's images appear better detailed with less noise!
